For years people have been finding God in strange places, windows, snack food, a frying pan. No matter random the location, they always make people take a closer look. Now Arkansas City has a sighting of its own.
The One Stop Body Shoppe is a low-impact weight loss clinic for women. Weekly weigh-ins and measuring's keep track of clients' progress.
"When they sit over here to go over what they've eaten, and what they haven't ate, they really try and be honest," said Michelle Beech, Manager.
That's because they're answering to a higher power.
"A client was laying here looking up and told me, Michelle, you have Jesus on your ceiling. I just kind of looked at her, and she said you do, Jesus on the ceiling."
The image appeared after heavy rain onto a leaky roof.
"I think its the silhouette and kind of a partial beard," said Dominique Sartin, Body Shoppe staff member. "She said if it had leaked a little more it would be a beard on the other side too."
So is seeing believing?
"Believing is believing. Regardless of what you see," said Sartin.
The tile has been there for three weeks, and whatever they decide to do with it, they say it won't be hard to say good-bye.
"We're tired of cleaning up the water. Maybe he'll be the only tile we won't replace."
