The Sisters of St. Joseph have always been big on social justice issues, many times to the detriment of their own faith. Unionization of workers has been one of their big issues for time immemorial.
It seems that now the shoe is on the other foot. The SEIU wants to unionize the good sisters' hospitals in California and the sisters are having none of it.
Funny how you can be for something until you actually have to pay for it.
