Smoke, fire and water on Tuesday destroyed much of the altar area of the Church of The Holy Family in Hooversville, leaving a drop of water, a piece of melted plastic, or perhaps a large teardrop under the right eye of the Virgin Mary.
I don't know. That is really a stretch to say that is a teardrop. Some people are really starved for something spiritual in their lives.
My guess, if we could see some before pictures of the now destroyed altar area, is that it is really a tear of joy that it got burned to a crisp.
