One translation is as good as another, right?

I wonder if they have enshrined a copy of that great 70's contemporary language translation "The Way".
And the various pals said to The Man, "Hey, dude, we gotta get us some bread if you want us to feed this mob, like."
O.K. that was a fake. Here's a real one: Mark 9:28
Douay: "And he said to them: This kind can go out by nothing, but by prayer and fasting."

The Way: "
"Jesus replied, Cases like this require prayer."
More fruity "fruits of Vatican II".
Bible Expo Reflects Ecumenical Teamwork

ROME, FEB. 1, 2008 (Zenit.org).- A Bible expo in Rome is showing that the translation of the word of God has united Christians in a special way since the Second Vatican Council.

"The Word Translated Together: The Bible in Common Christian Initiatives From Vatican II to Today" is the title of the expo open until April 29 in the Don Bosco Library of the Pontifical Salesian University.
