CBS 2 reports that James Caviezel, who played Jesus Christ in Mel Gibson's blockbuster The Passion of the Christ, was injured in a motorcycle accident near Leavenworth, Washington, on Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred when a man threw a bicycle into the path of Caviezel's 2006 Harley-Davidson.
Caviezel, 40, was wearing a helmet at the time and was taken to the Cascade Medical Center in Leavenworth to be treated for cuts and bruises.
