Children and youth from the Basilica of St. Mary’s learning programs will team with six parish choirs to present, “Our Gift of Song: A Christmas Epiphany Celebration,” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4.
The concert and performance will tell the Christmas story from three different cultural perspectives — Inuit, the Eastern lands and Mexican. The program is based on three popular children’s books: Ituku’s Christmas Journey, by Elena Pasquali; The Last Straw, by Fredrik Thury; and The Legend of the Poinsettia, by Tomie dePaola.
