Mama Mary appears on TV cabinet's glass panels

A television rack in the home of a family in Mangatarem, Pangasinan is now the object of veneration, as neighbors offer flowers and lighted candles to what they believe, are twin images of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ--that supposedly miraculously appeared onto the rack's two glass panels.

The family, who preferred not to be named, told ABS-CBN News Dagupan that the first image appeared on July 27, Sunday noon, while they were cleaning the house.

A member of the family noticed a "shadow-like" image of a veiled woman while she was wiping the glass doors of their television rack. The family said they wiped the image over and over, but could not erase it.

Two days after the incident, an identical image appeared on the other glass panel of the television rack. The family believes the two images look like the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The family tried to keep the "miracle" secret, but their neighbors in Barangay Olo Cafabrosan still discovered the images. The villagers have been praying novenas (communal recitation of prescribed prayers) at the family's home.
