Something I don't get...Stadium Masses

The Archdiocese of New York has produced this training video on how to distribute Holy Communion at Yankee Stadium on April 20, 2008:

Now, where is the reverence we always speak of?

What is the point of having Mass at this dirty filthy place?

Why does everyone in attendance need to receive communion? Did you know they are reserving thousands upon thousands of pre-consecrated hosts in various cubby-holes around the stadium so they can be shuffled out at communion time?

What is wrong with all those cathedrals we have?

How can anyone kneel?

What are you going to do about Pelosi and Kerry and others when they come up for communion?

This from the New York Times:

Here's one of my points: un-thinking Catholics glurge about the "rock-star" popularity of the modern Popes. The fact is, this is all engineered and manufactured. My God, there are rock stars performing an opening act for him, of course he has rock-star popularity.
