BBBEEEEEELLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh this is painful. Trying to get us to vote for McCain because some no-name crappy actor in a really shoddy, lukewarm attempt at a pro-life film gave him a medal. Ughhhh. It's so saccharine I want to puke.

McCain’s Catholic Medals

Tuesday, October 28, 2008 3:33 PM

Eduardo Verastegui, star of the pro-life movie Bella, recently gave John McCain a Miraculous Medal blessed by Pope Benedict XVI.

In honor of McCain’s pro-life commitment, the Catholic actor gave the medal to the Republican presidential candidate after appearing with him at an Oct. 17 campaign rally in Miami.

“Sen. McCain said, ‘Thank you so much!’” Verastegui said. “Then he reached into his pocket and took out a Blessed Mother Teresa medal that he always carries with him. He said, ‘Eduardo, now I am going to keep both of these with me everywhere I go.’ I also gave a Miraculous Medal to Mrs. McCain.”

Added Verastegui, “I was touched when I found out that the McCains adopted one of their daughters from Mother Teresa’s orphanage in India. There is nothing more beautiful than to give children homes with families who will love them. I hope that one day that I can do the same.”

As if one Bella wasn't bad enough

San Francisco Pro-Lifers Start a Film Festival

A new and unusual film festival focused on pro-life issues will be held in San Francisco this coming Friday, March 7. The Cinema Vita Film Festival is "dedicated to encouraging emerging filmmakers, showcasing movies about contemporary issues concerning life, and exploring life's deep significance."

One of the biggest stories concerning religion in the past several years is the explosion of Christian interest in producing films, ignited by the success of Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ. The grassroots marketing campaign for The Passion left in its wake a spate of companies and ad hoc networks attempting to tap into the same audience.

Connie D'Aura was among the group of pro-lifers who first discussed having a pro-life film festival. "I was in a meeting talking about how we could bring Bella to San Francisco when somebody said we should have our own film festival." No one said anything at the time, but Connie brought it up at another meeting several months later, and a decision was made on the spot to launch Cinema Vita.

Oh please don't be too sappy and crappy... Aww, why should I foster false hopes...

Another new Bella!

Expelled

Clearly, God is moving throughout Hollywood. For the last two years, most movies that covered the abortion debacle have been decidedly pro-life. The new hero is one that sacrifices his or her own concerns for the sake of their preborn children.
In the Spring of this year, Ben Stein goes for the jugular that supplies all the false ideology that fuels today's rebellion against God and truth. He is taking on the establishment enslaved by Darwinism and exposing not only its improbability, but its dangerous intellectual suicide that refuses to follow the evidence where it leads and that of course is back to God our Creator. This is going to be a huge hit against the strongholds that have captured our media, science, universities, and culture.

Yeah, right
